Obituary For Max (Chocolate)

We Love You Max, Our hearts are broken, you left us too soon, and there is a large void left from you not in our lives anymore. You were so loved by all, and you loved us back unconditionally. You were the gentlest companion, and I always told people “you didn’t have a bad bone in your body!” You barked at people ringing the doorbell, people you’d meet out on a walk, or people you’d see while you were looking out the window to see what was going on outside that you weren’t part of. It was an alarm bark to let us know “I got this”, but then more often than not when you got to meet the people you’d let out your “hello, I’m so happy to meet you” howl, and greet people with a happy wagging tail, and ready to give a hello lick if they let you. We miss your snuggling with us while sitting down anywhere, doing the zoomies after eating or whenever “that feeling hit you”, snuggling close in bed, running around the yard hopping like a bunny, and the sound of your footsteps trotting on the wood floor searching for us to give us a “hello” kiss on the cheek. And, it is very apparent now that your “sister” really misses you as well. On the list of “best dogs”, you are at the top and you set the bar pretty high for another to take your place. You brought us so much joy Max, and you will live in our hearts forever. We look so forward to your “hello howl”, signature happy sneeze, wagging tail, and kisses when we are together again! We love you buddy boy!
